Photo essay: Fun and adventure on the Milwaukee River at Estabrook Falls

Milwaukee’s parks are a draw for many reasons. Likewise the eponymous river that flows through the city. These two urban amenities merge in Estabrook Park where one of the river’s few falls provides excitement.
I expected to find people fishing at the falls when I went there on Saturday morning. It’s a very popular fishing spot and I was not disappointed. However, the rafting party of UWM students was complete serendipity. What fun! Enjoy the ride…….

Oh, I mentioned fishing. Yes, there were folks fishing too:

He released it back in the river.
