Photo essay: Annual river clean up

April 29, 2019  |  Topics: Events

By Eddee Daniel

The snow that was predicted in dire forecasts boldly proclaiming a winter weather advisory held off until later in the day. No matter, though. Over 3,500 volunteers showed up ready for the weather and ready to clean Milwaukee’s three rivers. Kudos to Milwaukee Riverkeeper, the event organizer. Here’s a quick selection of photos from a few sites I visited. The complete set is at Flickr.
