This 59-acre park, located in the west central portion of the City of Waukesha, consists of separate northern and southern sections. The northern section includes 2 ponds, one of which is periodically stocked by the DNR Urban Fishing Program, playground equipment, a park shelter and open play field.
The southern section includes a pond, a parking lot accessing Harris Highland Drive and playground. One of the topographical features is a glacial ridge top meadow that provides a superb view.
Identified as a wetland and wildlife habitat, this park is part of the Fox River primary environmental corridor. It contains plant and animal communities that are representative of wetlands, woodland and upland. A stream connects the ponds within the park.
