The wetland trail

 

Two-thirds of this 135-acre City of Brookfield Park are intensively developed for active recreational use. The remaining third includes a variety of ecosystems, including woodlands, wetlands, a large meadow, along the Underwood Creek primary environmental corridor. A network of hiking trails weaves through it, along with the paved Beverly Hills multi-use trail, which connects with the Brookfield Greenway Trail System. The trails can be used for cross-country skiing in winter.

 

Amenities include: An aquatic center, skate park, playgrounds, softball and baseball diamonds, soccer fields, tennis courts, volleyball courts, sledding hills, ice skating & hockey rink, picnic areas, and shelters.
