Petrifying Springs Park in Kenosha
Considered the flagship of Kenosha County parks. The 350-acre park provides many diverse opportunities for recreation, including hiking, cross-country skiing, snow-shoeing, sledding, picnic areas, playgrounds, golf, various playing fields and a dog park. In the winter the golf course becomes a lighted cross country skiing track.
The Pike River meanders through the park. Among the springs that give the park its name is a popular artesian well with pure spring water.
