Wetland Panorama

This 32-acre preserve located in the Town of Erin is owned and managed by the Ozaukee Washington Land Trust (OWLT). The preserve contains rolling hills and shallow valleys typically found in the Mid-Kettle Moraine region. The majority of the preserve is forested in upland hardwoods with some lowland hardwoods near wetland areas. The forest includes sugar maple, oak, hickory, basswood and ample woodland perennials. Its most prominent feature is an esker (glacially formed ridge) in the northeastern corner of the property which rises roughly 35’ from the forest floor.

Conveniently located near Holy Hill, Loew Lake, and the Ice Age Trail. Pets on leash are welcome.

There is a small parking lot and a well-marked hiking trail that loops around the property.
