Kirkorian Nature Preserve in Sturtevant
Activities: Birding, Fishing, Hiking, Running
Filter:

Most of the 26.2 acres of this Village of Sturtevant preserve is devoted to nature, which is surprising for a neighborhood park. A mowed grass trail loops around and through it. Much of the woodland is overgrown with buckthorn but efforts to manage it are underway. There is a large detention basin and a smaller natural pond. It is considered “dog friendly” and is adjacent to a dog park. It is also adjacent to a playground. The park itself has no amenities.
