Kinsey Park in Brookfield

A compact local, neighborhood park that packs a lot into its small space. Unlike most neighborhood parks, most of its 6 acres are left to nature. A woodland path follows a small stream through a hollow and a short bluff allows for a lovely looping trail experience. Wildflowers abound in spring, including trout lilies, wild geranium, Virginia bluebells, jack-in-the-pulpit, mayapples and more. Autumn turns it all into a golden wonderland.
The eastern third of the park features a pond with a small pier for fishing, a picnic shelter, and a playground.
The park connects with Brookfield’s Greenway Trail System. Dogs are welcome, but must be on-leash.
