Jean McGraw Memorial Nature Preserve Panorama

This 14.75-acre preserve is owned and managed by Seno K/RLT Conservancy. It is considered an upland/wetland complex and includes several hundred feet of frontage on the Des Plaines River. There is an easy, mulched 0.2-mile loop trail through the woodland. Wildflowers such as Solomon’s Seal, May Apple, Large White Buttercup, and Anemone can be found in season.

The preserve is dedicated in honor of Jean McGraw, who was a well-known environmentalist in the Racine area and a long-time member of the Kenosha/Racine Land Trust (K/RLT) board member.

The preserve is located on the east frontage road of I-94 between Hwys C and 50. It is open to the public for recreation, such as hiking, canoeing, fishing and birding. There is a small parking lot at the entrance. There are no amenities.
