Fox River Park in Silver Lake
This 150-acre Kenosha County Park includes hiking trails through wooded parkland, considerable shoreline along the quietly meandering Fox River, and a boat launch. The park is a stop on the Fox River Water Trail.
Winter activities include a bermed sledding hill, which provides a long and exhilarating run (weather permitting). Artificial lighting allows night use of this popular sledding facility. Snowshoeing and cross-country skiing are allowed on all trails.
Amenities include Ray Berres baseball field, a no-fee 27-hole disc golf course, volleyball and tennis courts, playground, picnic areas, shelters, and restrooms. There is a $3 fee to use the boat launch.
