Fellenz Woods in West Bend

160-acre preserve located in the town of Trenton, owned and managed by the Restoring Lands Land Trust. Includes nearly 1.5 miles of Milwaukee River frontage, 15 acres of lowland forest, numerous natural springs and a 50-acre virgin floodplain forest. A beautiful natural terrain enhanced with plantings of native grasses and flowers. The forest is a valuable wildlife habitat for amphibians, forest interior birds and waterfowl.
Identified by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology as an ebird hotspot with 137 species identified.
